La USMCOC nació en 1973 para hacer que el comercio entre México y Estados Unidos realmente ocurriera. David Rockefeller presidió su primer consejo consultivo. Es una organización binacional, sin fines de lucro e independiente de ambos gobiernos, con capítulos en los dos países. The USMCOC was founded in 1973 to make trade between Mexico and the United States actually happen. David Rockefeller chaired its first advisory board. It is a binational, non-profit organization, independent of both governments, with chapters in both countries.

El Capítulo Laguna abrió en noviembre de 2024. Somos el más nuevo de la red, y representamos a Torreón, Gómez Palacio, Lerdo y Matamoros. The Laguna Chapter opened in November 2024. We are the newest in the network, representing Torreón, Gómez Palacio, Lerdo and Matamoros.
